Do you give your birds vitamins?

What kind?
From talking to various people, I notice that some give vitamins and some don't. I also observed that most of the "Old Timers" dont give their birds anything. What are your views on medicating, and vitamins?

I give electro lights with vitaminas during the hot weather after they fly about every 2 days.

That keeps them hydrated and .. as you know I live in a furnace LOL

Meds NO I might treat a stock bird but all kit birds are Fertelizer if they get Sick. and if the stock Bird dont respond to treat ment in 3 days its Done. Remember the 3 Day Rule

I have never given any vitamins - just good feed, grit, and water.

I do about like ken, good feed, clean water, and grit. I only give antibiotics to a older stock bird that might be sick, if its a young kit bird and its to weak to handle it too bad. the only special thing I will do for kit birds is treat for feather lice or red mites, I want them comfortable in the kitbox.

I give mine Electrolytes, and a powder that maintain good intestinal functions. I also will clean them with tetracycline or 4 in 1 every couple of months!
