Above freezing temps yesterday. My only day off so I spent it flying and taking photos of the birds. Way too fat to do much quality rolling but some thing in the air is better then nothing. All birds are '04 thru '06. A lot of full bros and sisters. My fliers are all ways scruffy looking :(
Enjoy, Thor ---------- It's all about the friends we make :)
Mt Airy great looking photos of some cracking birds, note the "expression" in the eyes of those Chegs, plus others, these guys have what I call "attitude" very nice.
Thor nice birds thanks for the slide show make sure you keep clothes on those rollers if they get in your photobucket they can be put on porn show -..":" :))--------- Ralph....
These will be the birds I will be selecting out of to build this year's team. There are some quality rollers in the lot and if all things go well, I'll get one or two certified this year.
Thanks for the kind words.... The birds still have their Winter look on. Fat and beat up due to the harsh cold temps. Hopefully after a few baths, they'll look more like the fliers being posted on here. Maybe not L(
Don't get fooled by the eyes on some of these birds. Strong expression usually spells higher flying in my family. Them bird are usually the hardest to keep tabs on - feed wise. The best over all birds are the ones that have a border line look to them. Not too strong but not too weak. These are where I usually find my best team players.
You are correct tho, there are some mean looking birds in that lot. ---------- It's all about the friends we make :)

Any bird that has logged in two flying seasons in the air. Age means little, it is about experience in the air that earns them this name. Usually any thing that has been flown that long will have endured all most every condition dished at it by the owner or mother nature (BOPs, weather, over flies, etc.). These are usually the most reliable/consistent bunch of birds any one can put up at any given time.
First year in the air is considered Young birds or team. One full season under their belt will earn them the title of Yearlings. Two full season or more will earn them the title of Old bird or team.
The last of the photo sets are of the 202 line: 1033, 1032, 983, and 509 are all full siblings. 429 is off the same cock which would make it a half sibling.
Of course 202 can also be found in my foundation cock line. 980, 965, 1048, 1062, and 225 are from this line. I am breeding this line away from the 202 and more towards the 14686 and 14687 Stan Plona line.
This is some footage I took last year. The White hen with black tips feather leg and the Lavender Tarred Cock are the parents to the 202 line up above. 1033, 1032, 983, 509 are all off this pair.
When you have time, send some photos over. Would love to see some photos of your birds.
