We often talk about birds being imported from the U.K and elsewhere, but never hear of our U.S birds being exported to any of the other countries.. Is it done?..Anyone over the big pond flying the US birds?

Jerry
I dont know of anyone flying US bird over here.
Personally i dont think we need any US birds over here the same as you guys dont need any more of our birds over there.
But i would personally like to fly some good US birds just to compare and see how they go over here.

Jerry,
I know that Jerry Higgins exported rollers to South Africa, and that some other breeder(s) exported some to Australia. Also there have many gone over to Canada. Monty Neibel got some from Bruce Cooper, etc.

Why doesn't someone try to ship some eggs over to Wayne, or one of the other guys and just see what happens? Maybe even a swap and make it like a futurity contest!

WOW! You two would be a good swap! Both of you could probably get the most from each others birds! Good luck and keep us informed please!

Last time that I talked to Gary Stephens, he talked about some S. Africans, a few years ago, coming and trying to purchase birds! He didn't sell them any, but they did aquire some birds from other flyers! I belive they were Higgins!

I shipped Helmets and Rollers to Saudia Arabia ten years ago. They knew a person in the USA that helped them get the birds shipped to them. I shipped the birds to that person and they got their birds. Two pigeon fanciers phoned me and said they lived in Saudia Arabia. They said, my Helmets and Rollers would be the first shipped into their country. I shipped L.F. Clean Legged Tumblers to Canada forty years ago. A vetinarian and goverment offical heled me with the paper work. Then the airlines shipped them to Canada. Ray Sanchez.
