Got a few prs together, but its still a little cold here at night. The pairs that I have together, don't seem to be in any hurry to get aquainted!

My foster cock-birds are in the breedig loft at this time fighting for their boxes. Hens go in possibly on wednesday. Breeders went together today. ---------- Aloha, Dexter

Well fellas ,
ive just been given some stock birds to breed from ........ and borrowed some feeders [ 10 pair ] , hopefully i will have a kit out before too long , the cocks have been introduced to the stock sections to pick a box ....... hens will follow soon , got the M Hole birds yesterday along with birds from J Wanless and Lofty .. not long now

Good luck lee,i allways pair up later when the weather is better,i used to get over-excited in january about pairing up and it cost me a lot of young years ago,so now i wait till end of february and then go for it,jim gloucester.

Mine are on their first round of young and i'm not happy.The squabs look small and not well taken care of!I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

8 pair in the breeder loft/open loft/4 pair on eggs 4 with babys/22 in the kit box/when the weather warms up(for us here in SO.CAL) thats when they really start pumping.

February 16, 17. That hopefully gives enough time from laying to hatch til weather breaks a lil bit. Was -22 F last 2 nights. No heat in the loft ... I use lights beginning Feb 1rst to simulate 14 hr day length. Good luck to all this season ...

Had a few prs already going and the cold weather wiped me out! Nights been between 10 & 20 degrees and days staying pretty much below freezing and windy for over a week now! Hope at least, they all go lay at the same time on the next go-round! Putting the rest together on the 1st of Feb. ---------- Val

about the same here i banded my first 08 bird dec 29 barely got it on a racer ..now have 23 banded racers it got too -11 here the other night and no losses yet ill be puttin my rollers and the chinese owls down in a few weeks they seem smaller in type so they arent as hardy as the racing homers ill use light timers to simulate and should go fast the rollers also mature faster than the homers and are out flyin a lot quiker it seems
