We had major flooding this spring and summer, most of the state's wheat was ruined! I have been calling around and most of the wheat that was harvested has been used for replanting! I can't find any around here and the feed stores that I talk to, are saying that there isn't any till next harvest!

I prefer mixed feed over pellets! What can I replace my wheat with in my mix? I can get soft wheat, but heard its not as good and if i remember right, they don't like it!

Hey Val, I can ship you about 14lbs in one of those USPS value boxes for about $10. You pay shipping, I'll give you the wheat. Let me know.

Val, here is something to think about that I have been doing and is also great for the breeders. I have been mixing wheat germ oil in my feed for substitued for wheat, along with that oil it has other supplements.
I think it's a great idea.It comes in gallon size and it's sold at feed stores that sell horse products.
