Well thanks for all the good wishes. I traveled to four different lofts and had a great time.
My score wasn`t too great but I didn`t DQ. We`ll leave it right there for now. As of right now with one 11 bird to fly tomorrow Jim Schneider is the 11 bird qualifier and Bob Peterson is the 20 bird qualifier. The weather played a factor in the fact it was dead still and warmer than normal. This caused all of the kits to be a little flat.Some more so than others,V99 clears his throat and makes a face. Overall it was evidident there were some good birds flown on a not quite normal weather pattern.
Heres a few pix.
Ronny Knapp,Bob Peterson,JV the judge,Sam,Victor Babilonia,Larry Boggan,Jerry,Me.
Bobs loft is on a hill in the middle of a ranch. he has a really sweet setup and place to fly. Also an abundunce of wildlife as well.
pronghorn antelope does.
Vic releasing his birds. I was a little slow,sue me.
Sam is 9 going on 25. he has been flying for three years and beat in me on the WC.He has some really nice spinners
The spring fed lake/pond below Bobs loft. Ronny and Sam are skipping rocks.
