Milo,
The red hen is off 1417x46. I think it's down off some of the dummy stuff. I'll try to get a better picture of the cock bird. He does have an orange eye.

Hi Russ,
Yeah, I do have a few Ouellette birds. He was the first one that I got birds from when I started. I have a cock that produces some good ones, so I breed a few pairs around him each year.

Hi Grant
Good to see the birds.. Hey, would you mind sending a better picture of the red check hen off of 1417 x 46.. I would really like to see her expression now. I loved that hen when I sent her, would like to get a better look at how she matured.. Thanks Grant,, KGB

Russ,
I messed with the homers when I was in college. My time is limited now with family and work. Got to keep my priorities in line. I do keep a few pairs and have friends flying. I like the rollers and the enjoyment they provide. They are a lot of fun but eventually I'll narrow them down to one family and stick with them. With anything I've gotten into, I always try to get a variety of the best I possibly can and then narrow it down to what fits me. I just wish there was more time in the day to mess with the birds.

Hey Grant,

I really like the red hen #506. Of course, I am partial to those red checks. Goes way back to my childhood; the first real spinner was a red check cock bird that even the grown ups tried to buy.

Grant, some of those birds are really nice. I'm sure that you're going to do good with them.
Do you get many birds with the type like #608? He's a bigger, fuller type bird than the others. Just curious.
