I have a youngster 3-4 weeks old that has its crop all puffed up.It seem to be full of liquid and some feed (pellets)I applied a little pressure and he thru up some liquid....looked like feed.I have started him on antibiotics is anything else i can do?----------

Tip the bird up side down and get all the fluid out that you can. Baking soda works good to settle the crop. A little in some water and see if you can get the mixture into the crop. Eye dropper or someting on that order. Somtimes just getting all the fluid out of the crop works too.

Always keep Sulmet handy. It is the best for sour crop. As always don't put any kind of medication in metal waterer. Medication react with the metal and become poisonous.

I also use Sulmet...and I use Mylanta for heart burn in the liquid form...couple eye droppers full down the throat. It work really good.
