Hey, just thought Id let everyone know My first WC fly went well. Dick Kollman was great. What a nice Guy. He took the time to explain everything to me before we started.

I flew at 8 a.m. There was a slight breeze. A few clouds and just an all round nice morning to fly. I put up 18 birds. They went behind some trees out of site for a few minutes. We could see some rolling but not clear enough for them to be scoreable.

After they came back in sight they stayed at a nice height and in sight for the remainder of the fly. There was quite a few individual performers and a few nice deeper spins. But for scoring they just werent breaking together. I got
a 5,6,5,6 with a 1.1 Q and 1.2 D.. Total I believe was 36.92. Not anything to brag about but this was my first 20 bird kit ever and my first WC. So, I`m very happy with that. They made the time and put a score on the board. What more can I ask for?

Big thanks to all you guys. It was a good feeling to just see the time run out with all 18 still in the air. LOL

Maybe next year will be better. maybe not. But I will be flying a kit of birds come hell or high water... So far it looks like I got some good youngsters coming. I flew them tonight and was almost impressed with a few of them that I thought were too young to fly in the WC kit.
