Guys,
Those of you who have the WHP book, look at the pics and compare them to the pics on these threads now. I was looking this morning and thought to myelf , " That bird doesn`t look as well balanced as what I have." Am I right or am I wrong or just in left field? Seems those birds were a lot deeper keeled and kinda rounder in the front than my birds.
just an observation

Well Jammer,
The reds will be limited this year.I have an andy hen thats got red bar underneath. She is mated to a black self. Then I have a red bar thats mated to a blue bar they threw some red ck and bars last season. The best pair is a black baldie hen on a black self cock. They throw blacks in various markings.

The last pair is the foundation pair. I will poly that cock on the other two hens. The other two pairs will only raise two rounds of thier own. I am going to foster the first two rounds.Should have 34-36 birds from this group. Going for a specific type and concert performance. In the other pen I have my 2 test pairs to fill the other 14 or so bands after I am done with the poly.I will be a busy man.
