I would first like to say that this is a great site and always look forward to the knowledge and input I get from you...
have a pair of breeders that always produce young that seem to shake their heads and stretch their mouths open, whenever I flash a light in their eyes. The pair have raised several babies that are healthy and like to fly and perform. Out of all the birds I have, they are the only ones to do that.
Any ideas as to why this would occur and is this something to worry about?

Thanks Mark

Mark, all my pigeons will do that if I shine a flash light in their eyes at night. I have no idea why, just something they do for some reason. Maybe it's "hey the sun is coming up, yawn, welcome a new day"...lol.
It's nothing to worry about.
