can someone explain to me or better yet show me a picture of the flight feathers and where to locate them, this may sound naiive but I don't know squat about feathers when it comes to them.. going to try the theory Terry Duez used for his Parlors and see where my Parlors get with the program, but I don't know where to locate them darn things.

Sorry I don't have a pic for you. Spread out the wing, the longest feathers are the primaries. The one fartherest out is primary #10, and then count back to #1, which is the first one to be dropped in the molt and the shortest.

The fartherest one out is #10, the next #9, the next #8 and then the one you are looking for is #7. The birds should be all done molting by now so should have full wings. If not 9 and 10 are the last to go so one of those may be missing. Look for a gap in the wing.
