I have been flying rollers for a while in my back yard just having fun with them.I thought about getting into a flying club to learn more about the sport,watch other birds perform and maybe compete one day.I'am in Hookerton N.C. do anyone know of a club any were close to me or the closest to me. There is ton of guys from NC in the NBRC (National Birmingham Roller Club) Try contacting some of them to find local clubs. Check out the membership list at...

Big Al,
We have four major roller clubs here in North Carolina. The Mountain Empire Club-for flyers west of I-77 towards Hickory and the NC mountains; the Central Carolina Performing Roller Club (the one I belong to)-flyers from northern I-85 area from Thomasville and Denton to northern Greensboro; the Triad Roller Club-flyers along the I-85 corridor from Thomasville south to Kannaplois; the Queen City Roller Club-primarily the Charlotte area. Flyers in east/central NC usually choose the club closest for membership. Where are you located?

Big Al,
You are pretty isolated, but Charlie Stack, who lives in Benson, just southeast of Raleigh, is probably about an hour from you. He competes in all the flys and is in my club. He's got some of the fastest, deepest spinners I have ever seen anywhere in the country! If you need a phone number let me know. Why don't you post or e-mail me your phone humber or e-mail?
