Hi Santandercol; I think your bird has Coccidiosis.Give him some Amprol. That bird had it when it was shipped=location, humidity and stress has nothing to do with it. Stan Arnold--------- STARFIRE

If the birds vent is fowled dark green and dirty or if the bird is rapidly losing weight then maybe its coccidiosis. If not its likly respiratory infection (ornithosis). Treat with aureomycin or better still- aureomycin with tylan. Or take him to a vet and have the vet give him a shot of baytril. Act quick. He probably only has 3-4 days left.

Thanks for the advice.Taking the day off tomorrow to take him to town and the vet.Not easy to get meds here on the island. Hey CJ,where do you buy meds in Ontario.Do you get them shipped from the States or what? ---------- Kelly
