canonball good name, dam hawkes they set their claws in to bird ,bird goes in to shock,then flyes to ground, holds bird down, then starts to pluck feathers,then rip open the flesh,then start to eat, you must chased the hawk away.
this takes time to heal,your bird is a little older,and smarter,also could be better,if this is the best you have ,put it in breeder loft to stay.
