I have a pair of Rollers that are mated up... the first cycle eggs were infertile... the second round one egg hatched. The baby is almost ready to band, be a couple more days... I saw the cock top the hen 3 times in a row, then he squatted and she topped him, she did a good job too... is this normal for pigeons?

Yes, Kind of caught me by surprize too! But I guess they are pretty smart too.

a lot of my birds do that too. the first time i saw that, i was shock because it's just like the female's doing his job. n why would a male bend down for the female to get on top? it is kind of wierd and crazy
