Q.1 do i seperate the chicks from my old birds if so at wat age? You should move them to the kit box right about when their wing pits (under their wings) are near to being fully feathered. I generally move mine earlier than this, but around this time is good enough. Forget about "how many weeks" and just look at the babies, you'll know.
Q.2 at wot age do i start letting them out? As soon as you possibly can, the earlier the better. I let mine stay in the kit box for about a week or two. When I see them hanging out in the fly pen on the front of the kit box, it is time to open the door. I let mine mill around all day for the first few days. It will take them about a week before any of them will actually fly.
Q.3 when will they start rolling? That depends on the family of birds you have. Some will roll within a month or two of good flying. Others will take six to ten months before they will come into the roll. Don't expect a "gonna start rolling" date, there is no such thing with rollers. Just fly them and if they are going to roll, they will do it when it is time.
Q.4 when are they classed as my familly? IMO, the second you put bands on babies that were bred from parents you bred. Others will have differing opinions about that I'm sure.
