I have one lucky roller, i almost lost it when i was cleaning the cage and it rolled and hit the garage floor, it was a very unstable for a couple of days, but now it is fine. Does anyone think it will roll again? After that im afraid to let it out to stretch its wings. What do you guys think i should do? This bird is a very nice bird with great depth and velocity. Im thinkin the reason it rolled was because it was locked up for a while.. Any opinions on this?

You won`t know til you put him back up. Feed him up for a week give him a LIGHT antibiotic for the stress. Kick him out If he rolls down again he is probably a cull.Sorry bro I am in the middle of working one thru it myself. A really nice Lavin Turner cockbird.

Yes, from the lockup and the excitment of the release will cause them to roll down (bump) the ground. Once you start flying it on a regular schedule, it will take control of its rolling.
