12:57 PM 		Question.....what's the best, safest method in your opinion to rid your loft of pigeon flies? I spray my birds w/ Adams and have lice under control, no problem. The pigeon flies are the first to make a come back! I have to catch each bird and spray again. I guess I am just looking for an easier way if one is out there. If not I will continue as always! LOL! I will not use Sevin or Malathion, I prefer safer pest control products, as the kids love the birds too.

Dust them with Diatomaceous Earth. It is a powdery product that you can purchase from any garden stores. Then dust some of that in your loft. There is a spray called 'Purge' that you can purchase from Jed's that will help in keep them under control.
