I know this may sound old or redundant, but I live in a small town in Arizona, and can't get pigeon feed at local feed stores. I can get pigeon mix (15%),Cleaned wheat(11%),but pigeon pellets are not available. I bought pigeon pellets(18%) out of State, but I am about out. I feed pellets to breeders only. My question is---can I use chicken lay pellets(20%) in stead of pigeon pellets? I like the pellets, the y/b's are fat and sassy, and the breeders are looking good. Thanks for your input, Bob

Bob , The Chicken lay pellets are all that I use for my breeders, I like them around 16 0/0. The brand that I use (Nutrina) I like better than any pigeon that I have tried.

Thanks for the input,Scott. I think I can get the Lay pellets close to that 16% figure.
