I have been reading the information being posted on this site for quite a few months now and wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone for their shared knowledge and expertise, it has helped me very much in the hobby.
Well,I have finally taken the plunge and decided to actively participate myself so here goes...
My first question is: Anyone out here actively flying the North American High Flying Roller? I found information here on this site under the Archives section "Chapters 1&2 North American Rollers". I am interested knowing more about this strain since I have started my roller hobby with the Lester Manz strain purchased from Mr. Charles Hubbs here in New Jersey. Mr. Charles hubbs is an 85 year old gentelman whom has had this family of red and yellow mottles (White sides)since he was 15 years old that he purchased from his friend Lester Manz. Mr. Hubbs has shared a lot of history of this strain with me and I was curious on how this strain of roller has been performing for those who fly The North American HF Roller.I would greatly appreciate hearing from you out here sharing your experiences or thoughts on this subject.
I fully understand the great majority of everyone has the "Birmingham" roller and I am not trying to upset the apple cart here... I was just curious in knowing if anyone is still flying the "Old Style" Pre-Birmingham Type of Rollers, ie, The North American HF Roller? I only fly for my personal enjoyment I do not compete in any competition so, please be gentle, I wasn't looking to get my tail feathers flamed from the get go here.
Thank you in advance for your response and patience.

You may try posting a similar post on this new forum for all breeds of performing rollers also, maybe someone there has some of these birds or at least some info on them. Copy the following addresses to your browser and check out the site. http://users.boardnation.com/~performing_rollers
