My name is Marcus and I live in the Northern, Calif. region of Solano County. My club affiliations & memberships include the NBRC, the NCRC (Northern California Roller Flyers), and the HFRC (High Five Roller Flyers --- Northern/Central California).

I'm fortunate to be a self employed entrepreneur (TYCOON) who can work from home thus capable of spending countless hours breeding and training quality Birmingham Roller pigeons. I once had a dynamic group of performing Rollers out of the Pensom 350 bloodline.... unfortunately I no longer have these birds.

Deep Spin Lofts is my trademark and yes I love DEEP SPINNING rolling pigeons. I like to watch great performing rollers that can get down from 20ft to 60ft in a fast, tight spin.

I would like to acknowledge the great contributions to the sport from guys like William H. Pensom, Father Schlattman, Stan Plona, Keith London, Kevin McCray, Dick Stephens, Carl Hardesty, D.D. Kowalski, Henry Cook, Don Oullette, Ray Perkins, Joe Houghton, Chandler Grover, Hans Roettenbacher, Ron Kumro, Bob Evans, J. Leroy Smith, Richard Espinoza, Bob Scott, Charlie Saldana, Bruce Cooper, James Turner, Ralph Hilton, Jerry Higgins, Frank Lavin, Monty Neible, George Mason, Kenny Easley, Norm Reed, Don Ouellette, Juan Navarro, Richard Jaconette, Homer Corderra, Andrew Kopp (of Massachusetts), Harry Ashcroft (Fireballs of Ohio) and many others that I have not mentioned.

...also

I would like to give out a special thanks of pure gratitude to Dan Smith of Napa, Calif. for getting me started back on the right track with his Plona strain of Pensoms. Dan is also a member of the NBRC. Several years ago he hooked me up with a strong batch of young rollers which have developed into some incredibly outstanding spinners for us here at Deep Spin Lofts.

As an up and coming hardcore fancier of performing Birmingham Rollers my goal in a few years is to have a dynamite family of birds that spins very tight, rather frequent with great velocity and very deep. Maybe one day I can get a dynamite competition kit together that will be good enough to compete nationally against the world (World Cup).

NOTE: My kits usually consists of Tortosise Shells/Grizzles, Black Self's, Badges w/f, Duns, Checks (blue, red & recessive red), Lavenders and a line-bred family of Whites.

In conclusion let me just add that I work only with quality birds bred from superb bloodlines by competent breeders who understands the time and effort it takes to breed a champion performer. We have some of the top breeders & flyers of the Birmingham Roller here in the United States.... and it would be a good idea to get familiar with some of them!

Keep'em flying...., Marcus
