Dr. Colin Walker started racing pigeons in 1969 and graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 1979. He races with the Victorian Homing Association, which has approximately 400 members. Over the last 15 years, he has twice been his Association's champion and twice runner-up and has won a total of 13 open races with up to 10,000 birds competing, with most of his successes being in races of 400 miles or more.
