In all my many many yars having pigeons this 2010 season was the WORST... I couldn't get any of my pairs to lay eggs. And the few that did.......well lets just say it wasn't worth it. So, I separated them all last month and am consintrating on getting them "ALL" back in the air. Better luck next year...so the saying goes...lol

I am almost finished with breeding for this season. I plucked my a-team and they are on rest for another month. Flying 2 kits of YB and trap training the last kit this month.

My goals for this fall are to qualify in NCF, and to have a couple of birds good enough from my A-team (holdover) to put into stock. Many of my stock birds are getting old (8-10 yrs). I want to finish the improvements Ive been adding to my loft. Im coaching HS football and hope to qualify for state playoffs there.

I would also like to get around to see some guys kits fly. I want to see a team that breaks 40 times in 20 min legitimately and/or is capable of a 1000 point performance. I have heard it can be done and I dont doubt it, I just want to see it for myself, it would be an awesome sight. It would be great to see it over my loft even .... but Im willing to travel too.

I have two more rounds to go then I will be done. I had one 5 month old bump hard (got 1 swollen eye and knots on the head). The other squeeks are coming around. Windjammer, I started to breed in January as well and could not keep them. I broke the pairs up for a month, put them back together wsith different mates, then I was successful. Good luck with your future breeding seasons.
