My poor little window air conditioner is working as hard as it can, just to keep me from becoming par-broiled! :) So, it's the grill. How about sharing simple grill recipes. I'll start:

This works for eggplant, yellow or crookneck squash and zucchini. I cut the hard vegetables in half length wise and marinate in Red Wine Vinaigrette. These go straight onto a hot grill. I also halve cherry tomatoes but I leave them in the marinade in a metal bowl while the hard vegetables are cooking. Burn the little buggers! The good part is in the char! :) when the hard veggies are done, squashy and burnt, I throw them in the bowl with the tomatoes and place the bowl on the grill to stay warm, while the meat is cooking.

Rudy, give us you best without using the words beer or meat! :)

Take care
Thom

I like to cut up squash, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, pineapple and your choice of meat and shisk-a-bob them. Brush them with EVOO and sprinkle them with Cavendars greek seasoning. Grill them until done to your taste and eat the crap out of it. Hmmmm.... I think I will go eat something now.

Take one nice sized Carp, rub it with melted butter, put it on a plank of Oak wood. Put it the B.B.Q. cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the B.B.Q. Throw the Carp away, and eat the plank of wood. Bon Apitite. LOL. Thom.

James, I have a duck recipe, that involves several different bottles of wine, and a duck. Drink the wine, give the duck away unless you need the eggs.! LOL One last, My wife is training our Weimaraner to be a gun dog. We have two left over pheasant hens to do his field work with. I put a old red check cock in with them and they are laying about a dozen eggs a week! I was going to cook one of them but I need the eggs! true story and I'm not starting a roller pheasant line! :)

Take care
Thom

Hey Donny, The older I get the more the heat gets to me! :) It's raining here so I hope it will be a little cooler. I checked the kit box and it was 101 degrees yesterday.

Take care, little buddy
