Hey Johnie, there is a good chance it could be back later today or tomorrow. Try putting a couple birds in a wire pen and set on top of the kit box. This may help coax it if it sees them - should it fly by the property.

Did that. Was gone to take wife to Doctor for Hour came home and started calling and two of three came in but still missing one and of course its from best pair, its is always that one the one you don't want to lose. Cant complain have 6 more that will be coming out of nest in next 5 weeks or so.

Good for you! I still remember when I released a grizzle roller for the very first time that once it came out from box, fluttered its wing to go the roof that a hawk came swooping and that was the end of that. I never got a chance to see that bird performs. It was like the hawk was waiting for its meal. It was depressing.

Your birds were probably a few doors down watching you and wondering what the heck your looking for up in the air. Good luck with your birds GJ.

THANKS Tony Dave Rod- It is nice that first time they go up but also worrisome that something will happen to them- Guess I'm lucky not many Hawks around my place- a few up real high never come down after my birds. Don't have CAT problem anymore only one way in loft "front door". GOD BLESS!!!!
