Hey All,
Had a nice little fire at 5am on the 30th of APril....I am in the back and my firefighter is at the nozzle...pulled the 2 1/2" Master lead for this fire...Yahoo!! If you look close...my firefighter is just getting ready to pull the trigger...you can see the water just coming out of the hose....the master lead with a smooth bore nozzle..is flowing about 300 gallons per minute....we knocked down all that fire in about 30 seconds!!! all that work for 30 seconds of fun!!

Hey Paul, looks like a hot fire. Nice picture. I can imagine how all that water would blast the fuel right out of the fire. I hope your birds are doing good.

Cool, looks like fun. Better thsn trying to get a fat person out of their 3rd story apartmen, out the skinny door, and down three flights of stairs. LOL because they need advanced medical care.

Hi Paul, I am new to the forum, I am waiting on a shipment of Ruby's from Tony. But I sure wish I had some of that heat from that fire transfer to my current birds as I literally have to tie their wings together and drop them off a 12 story building to get them to roll lol!

That fire will come with the Ruby's from what I've seen so far and I only have two and fly one. I just starting putting one up with my kit and in the last two days it has turned into a little fireball. Little guy has only been in the air three or four days and is spinning like crazy already, its a nice little 2010 bird.

Hay fhtfire was that a set practice,a drill or the reel thing if it was the reel thing you have the wrong name for that post no fire is a good fire unless you are putting steak and ribs on it or a cull or two I had that in my back yard a few years back and lost $10G in tools and ins. said it's not attached it's not insured sorry but brought back bad memories.Dennis

My apologies....to a firefighter a good fire is one where nobody gets hurt. It was a real fire and not a training burn. It was a coffee shop on our campus...I know that Thom understands being a retired firefighter....That is bad that they did not cover it....this guy is covered..he had insurance....but again..when a firefighter says we have a good fire it means it was a working fire.....that went out like it was supposed to.....nobody from the public was hurt and all my firefighters came home safe........so it was a good fire.

An old timer once told me, kid, The only good fire is a camp fire. After 28yrs. doing the job in the great City of Los Angeles working some of the toughest houses(skid row,downtown,watts,hollywood). It finally hit me that he was right.

Right on Paul,,, glad you made it out safe...Yea ive just been training,, getting ready for this season.. Things are drying out prettie quick. my patrol area is still under about 8ft of snow....LOL probally wont maket it ther till mid june. Got my divison Group supervisor punched off this year,, so im ready for another safe successful season.. oyea and by the way you structure guys are CRAZY!!!
