There are several lofts up here that fly some pretty good birds, but it all depends what kind of stock you are after.

If you are interested in competition birds, there are many who fly what we call the English type Birds, most of which originated with Barrett and Brown (which are a bigger bird and roll deep, but not with the greatest speed, but will break together.)

If you are after a smaller, faster spinning bird with higher velocity, then Jerry Selinger or someone who flies his strain is the way to go.
Jerry has devoted his life to these pure Pensoms and he has never out crossed in almost 50 years.

Like I said, it depends what you are after.

I personally do not sell birds ( although I may give or lend a pair or two from time to time ) but I could gladly put you in touch with a lot of good roller men within three hours of Toronto, as I belong to four different roller clubs and know what most of them fly.

Let me know if I can help.

Scott, you are correct.
I heard from his girlfriend or wife on another bird site that he has no rollers anymore.
Both her and Brian are into showing now.

George Dring has given a good response it all depends the type of birds you are looking for?

If you want pure imports, clean lines never crossed with any others then Jay Lucarelli is your best bet Jay inported all his birds directly from BOB Brown ,,,,,if you want more info talk with Ron Kumro, friend of jays or also contact frank Cozza or don Luna

Also if you do a google search Under Canadian Pigeon Fanciers Association you will get a members list by province whch details thetype of breeds members have

Just before i got into rollers my cousin George Babaris passed away suddenly I am told he had great birds and he finished 3rd in the 2003 ? in the world fly Did anyyone know George ?

Well, Scott...
I was really surprised to hear that. He was sort of Monty's protege..
He was so committed. Plus he had all of Monty's birds and probably knew them better
than anyone else. Seems like he was sitting in the catbird seat. Most rollermen would
never have such an opportunity.
