I lost a hen yesterday.She had 2 babies about 2 weeks old.I think the dad will raise the young . My question is when can I put a new hen with him? Should I wait until the young are weaned or can I put her in now? David

I would wait and let the cock raise...but if the cock is good and you need to breed him ASAP, I would hand feed....just my opinion. ---------- I am never oppressed by the narrow confines of my existence.
