Vlad,

Very nice Galati rollers. I have some in nasel crest and plain head as well.

I have found that they are a little tricky to get trained do you have any suggestions?

I'd enjoy seeing more loft pic. I like to see how other people house their birds.

i have had a bird with that on its head. i killed it. its interbreeding that causes mutations like that. some dicks will say there is trumpeter crossed in rollers to make that come out. ive also seen feathers growing inside the skin and mini flights. the flight feathers only grow 3inches long full.

this is a bird i bred out of a bird a friend gave me that also had it .it comes from Pure Rollers, ive said before where i got it .but that person probably took alot of crap for breeding this,so it dose not mater where it comes from, its pure.

Hector go to the NPRA forum site and click on the top where it says Private Message. It is in the top left corner. I sent you some old articles I found one has reference to the crest in a very well known pensom guys loft of pure rollers. Its a good read. If you dont get it e-mail me at dcurneal@hotmail.com

How do Galati perform in the air? Do they actually roll or tumbler? They look very nice though...

Hi!
First time I want to say cause exist crested Galati Roller, also exist double crested.Double crested are not many.If somebody tell me haw can I post photo, I will post to see, crested and double crested galati.
Most important thing at this breed is to let them to fly, so much is possible. When you select your pigeons, you must keep only the best from the best, that mean they must fly minimum 1 hour at hight level, and they must roll( minim 1 meter-3 tumble in a speen).
http://jucatorigalati.sunphoto.ro/ here is onother web ,is our too, you can see more birds, also you can see another breeder if you click on name from "comment"
For the moment we can't translate our webs on english, that's take time, much time, but we try this in the future.
Good flying !

Chai-Seng,

My Galati's do spin and they fly high sometimes to high I like to keep the action closer. I have one that is doing close to 60' if you do the second count thing he goes for about 6 seconds. I have some that do 10-15 so some are deeper some are faster etc.

I like the birds though and they are always a good conversation when pigeon folks come over.
