I have been feeding my breeders hog grower pellets with great success. Nice fat babies, with a high protien mix. This is a great start for the younsters, try it next spring. When in the kit box, switch the younsters to your grain mix. Terry

I don't know what part of the states you are from and I don't know what hog grower pellets are, but Leach put out a real good pigeon pellet which is 22% protein and the squabs come out real nice, just remember that a week to ten days before you take them from the parents you switch them to regular grain feed. I have fed my kit birds pellets for about 5 years now....but it is cut with wheat and milo...I use 5 parts 50/50 wheat and milo to one 1.5 part 28% pellet. I have no problems and my birds do just fine in comp...I have tried regular grain mix but had better results with the pellets.. rock and ROLL Paul

I use the hog grower pellets also. I feed them to my kit birds cut with wheat and milo also. I ust 2/3 wheat and 1/3 of 50/50 pellets/milo. They fly well on it and stay in good shape. Sippi
