Hey Silver, Joe lives close to me, We use to visit Joe and John a lot when this area was booming in the roller hobby. But Joe got out of rollers back in 1996 and since then retired from the laborers local. WE ask Joe a few times if he ever would get back into the hobby and he always said I don't believe I ever will again. It was a sad day when Joe got out. There isn't many still flying the Roe birds. I believe Steve Sissel and a few up north might be flying them but you don't hear much about the Roe birds. I know they wasn't for the new guy, what I mean they were hard to get right on fly day. I worked with the Roe birds from 1994 until 2002 and switched families. I think Richard Miller still has some of the old 327 {oddside} blood from Joe. Richard received 577 from Joe when Joe got out and I know 577 was a true stock cock. But to find a true Roe bird it would be 12 years old right now so your search might be a little rough. Best of luck Brian Middaugh
I have a cock and your right he's 12 do you think Joe still has his records. I would like to see just what this cock is I have some nice birds off him I crossed him to my main family and there nice.
Silver, I have a copy of Joes records, Brett McCormick received the books and copied the last 5 years or so. Richard Miller has the original books. But I don't know if he still has them. I copied all of Joes records to one of my computers and they are still on there. Let me know what the band is and I will see what I can find out for you. Thanks Brian
Silver I have 93,94 and 95 on my computer. I didn't get 96 since I didn't buy any 96 birds I bought all of his stock birds and stuff he was flying. Thanks Brian
