These 2 are the first 2 of my squeaks that started rolling. They are nest mates and started rolling at 6 weeks, their now just over 7 weeks. Only a flip or two at a time but about once a minute they will roll. Really cool to finally get some birds flying.

Nice Birds Bertie.
Good Luck with them.
I had some birds once that were clear. I let them out and I never saw them again.

Thanks guys!
Well they aren't flying in Competition but they look great flying in my back yard.
Steven, you asked how I took the photos. I just use a Canon Rebel XTi digital camera but I built a special photo cage that I'm still working out the bugs. It has a very bright green background that makes it a lot easier to get the bird cut out of the photo and put it into another background. But on my first try I let the sun show through the green and it made a green cast on the birds. Back to the drawing board.
These 2 are also nest mates, difference between night and day here. Guess when you have birds you don't know their history you can come up with anything. I also guess that's how you tell the fathers background a little better.

OK I know the last shot has nothing to do with rollers but it is one of my favorite all time shots I took.

All four of these are from the Clay Hoyle lines. Lots of red there. I love it!

I use Photoshop CS3 the newest one. But you can use any verison to do it. I started with 5.5 and just kept upgrading. I also have Photoshop
I taught myself so it took a long, long time. The secret is to learn how to use a mask, that is the best way.

Thom, I just wrote to the man who's roller family I have and sent him these photos and I guess I had everything wrong on colors. He told me that the red ones are recessive reds and the one I thought might be Bronze is Mahogany and the black one is really a supper dark blue check, the only thing I got right is the doe and 2 fawns. Gee, you would think I'd guess one of them right. Shows my inexperience again. I keep proving that point over and over.
Eric, I have taught people how to use Photoshop but it really takes a lot of time and really it is a lot easier to have the person there. I might be able to do something on web cam chatting or something like that. Eric, if you look at that photo of the deer I added that sunrise it was just a gray sky.
