Eddie Baldwin flew the best kit on the day some nice breaks with some nice quality i think he scored 207 or there abouts. Alan Milne scored i think 97 not performing well on the day. Ross Young scored 104 i think. These birds again didn't perform well on the day. Ray got DQ and so did a guy called Darren With birds landing early i dont know these guys second names sorry. Looking forward to seeing some kits in Belfast next week. ---------- Regards W@yne UK Patience Perseverance Perfection ===================================== www.waynegrovesrollers.piczo.com

John Nice bunch of guys up in tyne and it was great to see old Morris hole They must have been 20 people or more at the fly. The Irish guys came over to watch the fly this shows how keen these guys are. Looking forward to having a pint of Guinness in Belfast with the lads next week. ---------- Regards W@yne UKPatience Perseverance Perfection ===================================== www.waynegrovesrollers.piczo.com

Wayne, which towns did you visit up there? I've often wondered which parts of my native north east are into rollers rather than racers. Shaun

Shaun i think Eddie lived in a place called Walker i also remember seeing Byker i thought of the programme on TV byker grove my kids watch it. I went through the tunnel to Gateshead i think John (rollingandtumbling) might be able to help me out with the rest of the areas because my co pilot did all the navigating for me saw some lovely countryside on the travels up to and around the north east. ---------- Regards W@yne UKPatience Perseverance Perfection ===================================== www.waynegrovesrollers.piczo.com

Wayne, back in the early 70s, I used to work at the Gas Board near Walker. Everyone who kept pigeons had racers, so it's nice to see rollers have found their way in. I used to travel from Newcastle through Biker to get to Walker. Sting was brought up there. They're all very built-up areas, as you will have observed, Wayne. Do the guys there have peregrine or sparrowhawk problems? Shaun

Thanks, John - I played in bands in the working men's clubs in all those places, but I was born and raised in North Shields. I've lived on both sides of the Tyne and if wasn't so cold up there, I might visit my family more often in Newcastle and Whitley Bay. If they kept rollers I would make more of an effort! Shaun
