I had the priveladge of reading Graham Dexters article in the 2007 AERC journal, The Perfect Team.
He refer to a style that he call ´Fast and Very Fast Wingy´
By wingy I presume that he meen the wings are sticking out while they roll.Is it possible for a roller to roll fast or very fast and still have its wings out to the side? I have not seen that before and was wondering if I am just blind to these type of birds.
My experiance is that when they roll with their wings out to the side they cannot get the speed. For the bird to be fast or very fast it have to roll in good style, or am I completely off track?
I would like to hear your experiance.

for a bird to be fast it cant be called wingy.any bird that doesnt tuck its self in propperly will slow its self down.for instance even very fast birds when they roll near the roofes they dont seem to wrap up we say theyre not relaxed enough.but as soon as they gain hight they tuck in & let rip.i suppose theres fast & theres fast .but they certanly cant be very fast with there wings sticking out all over the place.
