In recognition of the announcement by Ron Simpson and others that the “Show Roller” is not a performing breed and is a “roller” in name only and recognizing their efforts to have the Show Roller recognized as a “breed” in it’s own right, I have decided to remove all the Show Roller discussion pages and topic references from Roller-Pigeon.Com except the “ShowRoller.Com” site link as a courtesy to a fellow pigeon fancier and to promote pigeons on the Internet.

Ron Simpson has been an encouragement, contributor and supporter of this site and for that we are grateful and wish him, his club and their new breed the very best of luck in the future!

Roller-Pigeon.Com is a site dedicated to the promotion of the Birmingham Roller pigeon and helping fanciers derive more enjoyment from them by offering roller articles, information, discussion pages, pictures, products and more.

I welcome your continued support, kind words and contributions to all those who make visiting this site a daily routine.

When I revamped this site a few months ago, a visitor and contributor to this site cautioned me about the time it would take to keep up the maintenance and monitoring, let me say he was right.

But my passion for the Birmingham Roller has just grown stronger and my ongoing education makes me realize how much there really is to learn about this little spinning ball of the air known as the Birmingham Roller.
